RUSTIC ELEGANCE WITH THE CHARM OF REAL COPPER

ARTISANAL PRECISION MEETS EXQUISITE REAL METAL SURFACES

A modern dining environment that blends craftsmanship and innovation—this was the goal set by Victor Carpentry of Göllheim for the “Hopfen & Malz” restaurant project in Mainz. The modern beer bar offers its guests a wide selection of high-quality beverages and invites them to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The counter forms the centerpiece of the bar and has been optimally adapted to the customer’s needs. Alongside its aesthetically appealing design, durability and functionality played an equally important role in this restaurant project.

With skilled craftsmanship and an eye for innovative materials, Victor Carpentry has turned the counter into a true visual highlight of the bar. By using the Homapal 637/502 Copper Moon Light finish, the counter has been enhanced with a genuine copper surface. The counter fronts and the back wall area, which serves as a display surface, exude a rustic yet elegant charm thanks to the textured copper finish.

A HIGH-END DINING ENVIRONMENT WITH HOMAPAL COPPER SURFACE

Designing high-quality dining environments opens up a wide range of possibilities for new and innovative surface solutions. The challenge, however, was to find a durable and style-defining solution. In the search for suitable materials, the focus therefore shifted away from standard HPL laminates and toward innovative materials such as Homapal real metal laminates. The striking design and modern real copper charm of the Homapal 637/502 decor harmonise perfectly with the high-quality restaurant furniture.

The striking display of the metal surface, achieved through its extensive use, also adds significant value to both the bar and Victor’s woodworking shop. In addition to strengthening brand perception and awareness, this impressive project serves as a best-practice example for attracting new customers and demonstrating the potential applications of Homapal genuine metal surfaces.

During fabrication in Victor Carpentry’s in-house workshop, Homapal decors proved to be the ideal solution for producing the bar furniture. The processing of the real-metal HPL went smoothly, ensuring that the fabrication, application to the substrate, and installation proceeded without any issues. The exceptional level of craftsmanship in this project is reflected not only in the execution of the bar but also in the selection of materials. The 637/502 decor used was also handcrafted as part of the Homapal Gestures collection, making this project a prime example of true craftsmanship.
